MIRAGE MADNESS
S/S 2019
​a concept revolving around the hallucinations created by the extreme hotness of a desert, such as the refractions of light & the wavy-like figures in the desert​
after cutting out over 150 triangles of ticked denim, I patchworked my own optical illusion into a top. Resembling the shape & color of cacti, I used the same method in the leg of mutton sleeves, covered by organza. Mimicking the hot color of the sun, the same triangle pattern optical illusion is seen in the bright coral linen pants with mismatched stripes.
